Filter-equipped fans are used to ensure optimal environmental conditions inside enclosures containing electrical and electronic components. In the FPI system, the filter-equipped fan is installed at the bottom of the enclosure, which draws cool air into the enclosure (airflow direction: "in"). This system consists of a fan with a filter and an outlet filter with gravity dampers.
